This is probably a short-bus question but here goes: Is GB 6 closed? If not, what is the threshold to close it? I really want to jump in but need something in the next 6 weeks and want to make sure that the racek is here before I depart on a month long trip.

I haven't received the rack yet, but I ordered the same hardware from earlier in this thread that is the black SS. Patiently waiting for the rack so I can use it all.. haha I bought mine from the albany county fasteners place.

Just received mine and did a quick unpacking. Everything seemed to be packaged extremely thorough packing job, 3-4 layers of cardboard and bubblewrap.

Looks like just some "edge trim" really cheap on Amazon.

It's called rv trim on eBay. Good quality and goes on nicely. I added rubber to the mounts and zero vibration noise. Added enough height to use sides as tie down

found out why dhl held my package.. shipped as 15kg...

1 roof rack, 1 extra tray, 1 extra crossbar.

no way in hell it was 15kg. Hopefully DHL doesn't give me a big bill. They normally send me customs bills after the fact.
