It is a yakima basket case. They are discontinued but you can find them on Craigslist. Just bolted it with two inch aluminum L brackets from Home Depot. They bolt straight to the sides and then line up with the rack. It probably won't carry a whole bunch of weight, but I use it for folding chairs and a collapsible dog kennel so I never put too much weight in there.

I was finally able to get my rack together last week. My work schedule has been insane.
Overall, I thought the process went fairly well. It did take me longer than I expected, but I did add the additional aluminum supports for the brackets. Another issue I had was one of my side rails, the front right, where the first attachment for accessories is, was bent to shit. I didn't see this when I first unboxed it. So, I did spend some time straightening it out. Fortunately, all went together well with no issues
After installing the mounting brackets, I did have to slide them a bit here and there to line the rack up just perfect. I couldn't figure out exactly where the rack should sit on the top. So, I installed it so the rear was nearly flush with the back, about an 1/8" shy of the rear spoiler.
The rack isn't perfect, but it sure looks good and gives me lots of flexibility with mounting and hauling. I've got an additional tray that I might add to it in the future if it calls for it. I can see I'll have to make some modifications for certain situations, but that's part of the game.
I'm definitely going to get in on the ladder. Late to the game with my 5th batch install, but finally got it on. I'm looking forward to getting some good use out of this!

Is there supposed to be a 3/4 gap under front fairing? Seems a bit big to me... Ideas?

Yes, mine has the same gap. I think they did that for design purposes.

Honestly you won't be able to tell. At first I was iffy because V1 didn't have the gap but I don't mind it anymore. You can kind of see it in this pic.

Got my rack installed on my 4th Gen just in time for the trip. If any of you 4th gen fence sitters want any specific photos or info, just let me know!
Since you seem to still be the only 4th gen guy posting up in here. Any issues with the rack after running it for a little bit?
I just mounted too much weight bouncing around on the stock crossbars on my last trip and am now looking for a bit more carrying capability. I love the low profile look of this rack and hoping to still fit in my garage door with stuff mounted to it...
