ECT PWR light on dash

ECT PWR light came on my dash. I donr have a manual to look it up. Can anybody tell me what it means

My truck has a button for that, it changes the transmission shift points so it will hold gears longer. Dash lights up green when it's on.

 

[Spish]

Means "Extra power "lol , like IanB said, he just changes your shift points, doesn't really give you any extra power.

 

[4-Ripcord]

Stands for electronically controlled transmission. There is a button for it by your clock.

 

[Dagobah]

Stands for electronically controlled transmission. There is a button for it by your clock.

or next to the E-brake handle if its a pre '99.
