sorry to hear about the theft. have you checked the fuse to all those lights? make sure the wires dangling aren't shorting out on each other or against metal. you should take the dash apart and see if wiring to those lights were ripped out along with the stereo. wiring diagrams and a repair manual would help. let me know if i can help, i still have a repair manual from my 94 4runner.

Thanx for replying, I've checked all fuses and they're ok. Are there and sites you know of with wiring diagrams? Thanx again.

i don't know any. your public library would have them available to photocopy. let me try to find my manual and my scanner when i get home...

I'm going to assume the 93 runner shares a bunch with the 92 pickup. In the 92 pickup, the speedometer, dash lights, and tail lights are all on the same circuit. There are fuses both in the engine compartment and under the driver side dash. I don't recall which one it was. In any case, you need to make sure nothing is shorted out first. If the radio was literally ripped out and wires yanked or cut you need to tape each of them off. Also follow them back a ways to whereever they are attached or bundled -- there's a good chance they will be cut or shorted in these spots if they were yanked on hard enough. Once you have all of that fixed then check all your fuses. You have to check them with a meter since you cannot always tell when they are blow just by looking.

Good luck. Sorry I don't have the wiring manuals for my pickup.

Ok, well I checked both fuse boxes and all are good. I got an old cd-player deck and tried wiring to see if anything would happen. I got the deck working and all 4 speakers, but still no lights. Someone told me to go to best buy so they can just fix it and they tried to charge me atleast $65. I've also tried wiring all the loose wires with each other but no luck.

$65 isn't bad if they fix all your wiring.

when you say you tried connecting the loose wires, were you able to match each pair of the same color wire and stripe colors on the wires together? start with one single problem first. for example, if your tail light's not working, trace the wiring starting from the fuse all the way to the tail light bulb. if the fuse is good then i'm sure you'll find the wiring broken somewhere along the path from the fuse to the light. note what color the wire is from the fuse block for the tail light, then trace it as much as you can until you're at the area where the stereo was. if there's a problem with that wire it should be here. can you see where it's torn? use this debugging process on everything else that isn't working. but i'm guessing most of the problem is right there in the dash where everything was ripped out.

if you need the wiring diagrams still, pm me with your email and i'll send you some scanned copies from my 94 repair manual, the same as the 93 4runner.
