Electrical Kill Switch

If one wanted to add an electrical kill switch to a 4th Gen, where or what wire(s) would be ideal to accomplish this?

I recently came into some high security locks and keys and one of the items is a nifty switch which can be either momentary or on/off. I think it would be fun to integrate that into the truck for added theft protection.

Valid point, but googling "Toyota Immobilizer Bypass" left me a bit unsure about it.

I don’t daily drive my 4Runner… it sits for months before use sometimes. Keys are in the house, if someone broke in and took the key, it’s very unlikely they would know or even find where I had my kill switch. Plus I always have the high security key on me... as its also used for other things at work.

Alternately, I can always use it somewhere else. Its just a nice keyed electrical switch. This just so happens to be the first thing I thought about.

There are many ways one can integrate a kill switch. Can be done with starter, fuel pump, efi fuse, etc.

It only deters thieves and/or delays them to steal your vehicle.

I have many deterrents on my vehicle but rather not say on this forum as any thief can see this thread on how and what to do to steal it.
