electrical lock issues

last weekend i went up to pismo beach to do some dune 4 wheeling, when some water splashed in through my window. weverything seemed fine, but when i got back to camp later that night i started to have weird lock issues. for a wile the doors were unlocking and locking by them selves. now a few days later they will unlock electricaly but not lock.

is there a way to clean out my electrical pannel? or do i have to replace everything? i have taken it out and am fiddling with it to see myself, but i would love some veteran advice

thanks

well while i have never had quite the same issue, sometime's after my switches get wet, the locks dont want to operate, after a couple of hours it seems to work fine, what i usually do is just reach to the other side and click that button and it works then, but it doesnt happen unless they have JUST gotten wet, how much water would you say you had on them?

it wassent too much water, but it is salt water. i tried taking apart my sytstem but it dosent look like it has build up or anyting. now if i click the window lock button the doors will lock. its all weird. and totyota told me it would be 300 to replace. im looking around on ebay and what not, maybe even a junk yard. if anyone has a 4runner they are getting scrapped, id pay to pick it up off of you

I would take it apart again and blast it with some electrical contact cleaner.....even WD-40 (water displacement).
