I own a 2008, V8 4Runner-limited. Recently I have had my rear window defogger and my rear wiper/washer are not working. The light does not come on when I press the rear window defogger button on the dash.
I have checked both fuses in the fuse boxes located in the dash and next to the battery for the rear window defogger and the wiper washer and both fuses appear to be fine. When I switch the fuses out with another fuse it does nothing. Also, it seems odd that both those fuses would suddenly fail seems like it may be a wire somewhere that runs both systems? If anyone has any suggestions on what I should check or what it could be it would be most appreciated.
