Electronic Heater control problems

hey just wanted to know if anyone out there is having any problems with there electronic heater & a/c control, it seems alot dimmer than it was and i have to press the same button over and over to get that function to perform, and today i started the runner twice and each time it went crazy, just started flashing all sorts of numbers, each time i managed to get it to work again. If anyone out there has had any problems/solutions please let me know.

I had similar problems, but no flashing as you mentioned, I changed all the switches and noticed there was a short on the front control board. if you take it apart, there are two circuit boards joined by a ribbon cable. if the board is twisted slightly the short goes away. Not sure if its a loose IC connection or a barrel terminal through the board. The bulbs were also blown, so i replaced those as well. I've seen a writeup somewhere here about changing the bulbs , try searching for it.

There is a way you can do a diagnostics on the system by pressing a few buttons. Look around for this on Google. If you can;t find it, I have the FSM somewhere and can look it up for you. Essentially, the system runs checks on itself and gives you a code which tells you the problem.
