Energy suspension bushing install for front lower control arms

I have seen some installs for these but I have to say some of the steps seem like a lot of work.

I found the easiest way to get these out and installed is to

Torch the outer shell, torch the inner shell, and use a puller to take out the plates on the end. I attached some pics to help others trying to get this done

1) grind the inner sleeve so that the flange is weakened

2) use a from end puller (can rent the kit from advance auto parts for free) to pull off the plates

3) Torch the outer sleeve(no pic) then the inner sleeve for like 7-10 min and the metal piece should just slide out. Pic is after torching the outer sleeve

4) use a extension 3/8" and 1/2" and press in the plates back Onto the flange with the poly bushing( can hammer it too, but prob take 10x longer)

Now u can wire wheel the rubber left overs, took 1 hourish

I didnt want to spend $$$ for aftermarket extra lift control arms. I just wanted urethane bushings instead of rubber. 70k and Oem rubber bushings were fine. I just love a tight suspension, and rubber bushing has a lot more flex

Work took ~1 hr so not so bad
