Congrats and good luck to the both of you! Does that mean the offroading time will decrease? :p

CONGRATS!! Best wishes...and now the hard part...planning out the wedding!! Trust me, i am doing it right now. Give yourself a good year to do everything...at the very least, 6 months.

Congrats again.

Congrats, I just got married on Sep. 2nd, you will be married before you know it, we were engaged for 17 months. Sure didnt seem like it though.

Congrats!! I just got married this past July....it's great....

Side note...I'm also a fire fighter here in Virginia.

Congrats

Congratulations!

My wife and I were married July 1. Awesome job on the proposal! Good luck with the plan$ (you'll see).

Thanks guys, I appreciate it!

In other equally important news, my Shrockworks bumper has arrived! :bouncy:

Sadly, it is sitting packed inside a trailer at the local Old Dominion trucking company.

I called them and they said I could pick it up today, but they called back shortly thereafter to tell me that no one could unload it until late Sunday night. I called and pleaded with the supervisors, but they said the earliest I could get it would be 9pm on Sunday. Of course this is a completely free weekend for me, one in which the girlfriend (er, fiance) is away. It will be at least two weeks until I have a free weekend again

Doh!

Congratulations. Do you try to determine if an uncut rough stone is actually a diamond? Your course of action will depend on the nature of your rough uncut stone. Here are some possible steps. First take note of it's basic nature. For example: 1) Is it a transparent, translucent, or opaque? 2) Does it have a definite crystal shape? What is that shape?
Diamonds come in several well known crystal shapes. But the most reliable option would be to contact a diamond certification laboratory here at gem lab

Congrats! Wife and I have been together 49 yrs, and married 46 of those. I wish for you the same and more,

First off, congrats to ksneubec! These are exciting times starting your new lives together. Best advice I can give is to never go to bed mad. Fortunately, my wife and I seldom fight, but this philosophy has worked for us - and we've had a few long nights from it. So far so good, we made 22 years in June.

Congrats also to oldmanb777 and his lucky lady too! I hope my wife and I can make at least 50. Would like more, but that decision is not totally in our hands, is it?

So another piece of advice... don't take time for granted. It can be tough not getting lost in the day to day, especially when first starting out, but make time for each other. And when memorable, happy moments happen, recognize it, don't rush through, soak it all in, and make sure you remember the little details. There will be times you'll need a good memory to look back upon for a smile or inspiration during a difficult time. And God forbid, if tragedy strikes you'll have less regrets about time lost / not appreciating the moments you had together.

Best of luck, good health, success, and happiness to all who are just starting on your journey. :)
