I did a couple water crossings well off roading the other day, and may have bit off more than I can chew on one of them. I kept a consistent speed, and had a good bow wave in front of me, but there were moments where the water was up to the headlights.
On the trail after one of the longer water crossings, I noticed the speedo was acting quite sporadically for a few moments, but then continued to work.
Anyways, I was able to finish the trail, and start heading home when I began to notice performance issues. Thats when I got the check engine light, and the traction control lights. If I stopped, the truck would stall. I could start it, but it was in some kind of limp mode. Sometimes it would reset and drive normal for a while. I got it to make it about 40km (with a couple restarts) and I had a mechanic get it towed back to where I live.
Here are the codes I got:
P0606: ECM/PCM PROCESSOR FAULT
P2103: THROTTLE ACTUATOR CONTROL MOTOR CIRCUIT HIGH
I haven't found a lot of information, sounds like I may need to replace my ECM. It's at the mechanics and they're going to take a peak on Monday. I'm hoping its nothing too serious, and that I can get it repaired. Again, it wasn't an overly deep water crossing (it had its moments), and I figured I'd run into other issues before running into electrical issues.
