I recently did all the fluids after buying this 95 sr5 limited 4x4 3.0L V6. I used the Halvaline with Dex-cool... The orange stuff.. And now the car runs fine (except the dipping at idle that I think is the Fuel filter becouse probably origional and 193K mile. The math is up to you) the coolant temp stays right at just under half. When I stop, and shutoff the engine and go in a store, or something, start it up and the temp is up to about half the width of the red below the red.
Air in the cooling system maybe? And if so How do I get it out?
Thanks in advance..

I would dump the dex-cool and use regular green coolant. I had an S10 Blazer with the crap in it and every time I'd be driving on a hot day and stop for 5-15 minutes, I would get back in the vehicle and the temp gauge would be WELL over half from the heat soak. I've only encountered that on one other vehicle before, which was my Honda CRX, and it would only do it on 100-degree days after driving across town at 80mph...(that car is also turbocharged and has a bigger-than-stock engine).
