2004 4runner V6 2WD SR5, 227,000 miles.
How come my temp gauge will will go into red when sitting in traffic with the air conditioning is on, but the minute a turn the aircon off it goes back to normal level which is in the middle. What would be the common issue with this bad thermostat, bad gauge, water pump, blockage on the coolant in the radiator, head gasket, etc... any info would be helpful. Thank you.
