Engine Swap Issues, Please Help

Recently I decided to buy a parts truck so that I could have a second transfer case and could put in a dual transfer case in my truck but when i bought it I figured I might as well swap the motor and transmission as well. The parts truck is a 92 toyota pickup with a 2.4 L 22 re motor and 5 speed manual transmission and my 1985 4runner has the same 2.4 L 22re motor and 5 speed transmission but when I got it all in place the plugs to the wiring harness are different so I kept the new one and plugged it into the computer but when I try to start it it sounds like the battery is dead and the starter wont turn over but I don't know what the problem is. I've read a lot of forums saying you have to switch all the injectors and the whole fuel injection system to avoid this but is there any way I can get around that because I already sold the other motor.

The fuel injector harness has nothing to do with why the truck won't turn over.

Turn your key to On, pull the wire between the coil and distributor, and jump the positive battery stud to the crank wire connector (small wire) on the starter. If that cranks your truck, then you have the dreaded click-no-start - the fix is upstairs in the stickies. If that still doesn't crank, then you should pull the battery and starter and take them in to get tested.

My money is on a bad starter on the donor engine. If it is bad, don't replace it with parts store garbage, get your existing starter rebuilt.
