Recently I decided to buy a parts truck so that I could have a second transfer case and could put in a dual transfer case in my truck but when i bought it I figured I might as well swap the motor and transmission as well. The parts truck is a 92 toyota pickup with a 2.4 L 22 re motor and 5 speed manual transmission and my 1985 4runner has the same 2.4 L 22re motor and 5 speed transmission but when I got it all in place the plugs to the wiring harness are different so I kept the new one and plugged it into the computer but when I try to start it it sounds like the battery is dead and the starter won't turn over but I don't know what the problem is. I've read a lot of forums saying you have to switch all the injectors and the whole fuel injection system to avoid this but is there any way I can get around that because I already sold the other motor.
