I am wanting to go with another motor in my runner. I want to find out want would be a good engine for crawling and everyday driving? :beer:

lol sorry guys. I have the stock v6 and it is just sluggish and it is having head issues.

If you have a manual transmission then check out www.marks4wd.com for their GM 3.8lt V6 conversion kits.

There's many engine swaps done on Toyota 4WD's, Supra 7MGE V6, Chevy 350 V8 and 4.3 V6, Buick 231 (3.8) V6, Ford 302.

DO some SEARCHing and check out Advance Adapters site.

I'm going to put a 302 into the beast, (Bragged about truck before letting my wife drive = "Bye-Bye 22-re!"

Looking at the advance adaptors site, are they just saying we need the engine mounts, and the radiator? (Given that we go to an electric water pump, get a bellhousing, clutch fork, and slave cylinder-along with the PS steering fiasco!) They have a lot of kits for GM, but none for Ford.
