Englishtown NJ, 8/30 - 1/4 mile runs - interested?

Is anyone close enough to Englishtown NJ, that wants to meet up for some 1/4 mile runs?
I wanted to race today (8/26) at the street wars event but it got rained out.
I might go with other guys and their jeeps Wednesday night (8/30), I was wondering if you guys with the 4Runners like the idea also to have a few runs.

I think you'll be good for under 16 according to some numbers I've seen on this board, if you are completely stock. Personally I think that any 6cyl SUV that makes it under 16 is putting out excellent power.
Actually I have a friend with a 4.7L V8 Durango that is making 15.9, so if you make a pass under 16 with your 6 you should be proud.
I hope you can make it.

BTW, there's me and 2 other jeep SRT8s that will be going so far.

Next Street Wars event at Englishtown will be on November, hopefully we can get a large group to go, as the time gets closer I'll start a new thread about it to remind you guys.

Actually I have a friend with a 4.7L V8 Durango that is making 15.9, so if you make a pass under 16 with your 6 you should be proud.

This 4.7 Durango can't be stock, the Hemi Durango runs that time. I drove the 4.7 Durando and there is no way it could run in the 15s.

Yeap, you're right, he has intake exhaust and I think he also uses a superchips handheld tunner, I believe that's all he's using.
So that would be even more impresive if the 6cyl '05 4Runner can run under 16 when a V8 HEMI powered Dango can run just under 16.

Its all about the weight!! I have noticed that most of the Durangos equipped with a Hemi are full time 4wd which gives the 4runner a slight advantage in the driveline loss department. Also don't forget the Durango only gets 330hp out of the Hemi not the 345 or so the truck gets.

RichP, I was looking at the Ch12 Traffic & Weather report and it seems is going to be nice for tomorrow evening.
I hope you can make it, I'm planning to be at the track at 6.
So far is going to be 2 or 3 SRT8s, 1 GMC sierra diesel running 13's and mine. So a group of 1 truck and 4 or 5 SUVs is not bad for a Wednesday night at the track.
I was hoping more 4Runers could make it but maybe next time, I know Koz also wanted to come, next time thou.
