Entune 3.2.0 update file. (from toyota nation via tacoma world)

old fix on 3.1.0 (Entune 3.1 update?)

Some 2012 – 2014 model year vehicles equipped with a Display Audio Navigation System (Non-HDD) and Entune™ (version less than 3.1.0) may exhibit one or more of the following conditions:

• Turn-by-turn guidance is not given when routing through unverified roads (“In Process MapData” message displays in turn list)
• Call volume through speakers is very loud upon first-time phone pairing (for Highlander, Tacoma, and Venza vehicles with JBL)
• iPod® and iPhone® (in iPod mode) autoplays when connected via USB
• Bluetooth® (BT) devices (in Bluetooth audio mode) autoplays when connected to the system

3.2.0 fix details

Some 2012 – 2014 model year vehicles equipped with a Display Audio Navigation System (Non-HDD) and Entune™ (version less than 3.2.0) may exhibit one or more of the following conditions:

• Roads flash on and off in certain zoom levels (when Entune is in use)
• Discolored bands appear across the screen (when Entune is in use)
• Map area on the screen is black and only buttons are visible (when Entune is in use)
• Navigation freezes (when Entune is in use)
• When Bluetooth is the last audio mode selected in previous ignition cycle, audio source switches back to Bluetooth when another source is selected immediately after the engine starts

It's funny that my dealer has never heard of this, and when he found out offered to upgrade it for a fee and have the truck all day to do it. Apparently lending me the USB drive for all of 10 minutes was too extreme of a request.

I have been having BT issues and probably need to upgrade. There have been reports on the Taco forums that there are issues with Entune following the install...

Have you attempted this yet? My navi is freezing pretty consistently..showing I'm driving through a lake, when I'm obviously on I-95. Might try this tonight!

i am at work :(

this doesnt apply to the LE's since those update via cellphone data plan i think.

i know on the 3.1 update it doesnt even recognize the file since its only for the non HDD NAV entune's which the LE have the HDD version NAV entune.

Maybe it depends on the model year, I have a '12 LE with non-HDD.

Ok so I did the last update to 3.1.0 and ever since then my Pandora freezes up and says its buffering then it skips to the next song. Do you know if this will fix that too or if anyone else was having a similar issue?

i guess i should have clarified, it doesnt apply to the 2014 LE's as they only come with the Nav HDD Entune versions :)

and i was directing my response to robscool since he has a 2014.

Thanks man- I guess I have to just wait for them to release updates for us.

Entune 3.2.0 update

Thank you !

Feels like I just did the 3.1 update (lol) This is what's so great about this forum community , sharing really helpful info. It's Awesome !
It seems so ridiculous to do it this way, why can't Toyota update through the Entune app using your phone, or at a minimum send us a email that an update is available and a link. This is like 10 years ago technology were working with, and if there trying to charge us for these updates all the more reason to notify us about them. Anyways rant over.
3.1 to 3.2 complete. Thanks again

2.2 to 3.2 in 2013 TE with Entune/Nav- Piece of cake. No issues [at least with install]

Co-Worker was changing oil. Saw me in truck with engine running. He was all covered in oil and asked what I was doing....opened the window pointed at the USB stick- told him - "working on my truck"

:reddance:

I tried mine and all that file does is playing "4 ringtones" from update file. I'll spend more time on it this PM. Also I'm unable to find TSB on this update. Still searching. Does ISO file need to be extracted or left in compressed format on USB drive?

The USB stick needs to be formatted to FAT32. Copy the two files from the dropbox as is. Do not extract. Make sure you have entune nav and not JBL.

Done. All is well now. 1.7 updated to 3.2, now my Music from USB sorts properly. Thanks for help. Awesome links.

Does anyone have a copy of the files they'd be willing to share? Dropbox is restricting the link - too much traffic apparently :lasercannon:
