Has anyone got the ScanGaugeII working on an '03-'04?

I have a 2003 V6 using ISO protocol. The only reading that displays a number is voltage. I tried to set up the XGauge for transmission temp. using these codes I found on here:
TXD: 686AF101B4
RXF: 044105B40000
RXD: 2808
MTH: 00090005FFD8
I can only get it to display a fixed ATF temp reading from when the vehicle is turned on, or the ScanGauge plugged it. The readout number doesn't change while driving. To get an updated temp reading while driving I can unplug and re-plug it and the reading updates. Firmware version is 4.53. I'd really like to be able to see ATF temp and coolant temp. Any suggestions? I emailed Linear Logic and they were of no help.

It has something to do with the protocols and the way the its wired through the OBDll port which is an issue in the early 4th gens.

I tried ultragauge, scangauge, simple phone apps with no luck, all I got was a flashing abs light.

The only way I can scan codes and get data is using techstream and highend scanners.

They have a modified cable with certain pins removed that I can really remember what it does but it didn't work either.

Keep us posted if you ever get it to work.

I have an UG II and on my '03 V8 it would read coolant temp, exhaust info rpm, and some others but found it to be of little use and it set off VSC and another light that are on all the time now. I don't use it anymore, if someone wants a deal on it, PM me.

Hmm, that's odd that the atf temp is working but not being updated. I'm using a Scanguage on a 2003 v8 4Runner, and I've not had any issues with it. When I first installed it, I forced it to use ISO by plugging it into an older vehicle, forcing it to use ISO, and then plugging it into my '03 4Runner. I believe I am using the same X-Gauge that you found. Are your other readouts displaying normally? I typically have up the voltage, instant MPG, ATF temp, and coolant temp, and they all update normally.

Go into your advanced settings and take a look at the "Data Update Rate" and see if changing it makes it update normally.
