I have a 2014 sr5 with entune and non jbl. Went on a long trip and was curious if I could get video to playback on the screen. No luck - tried the USB and 3.5mm connector. Searched the intraweb and tried the tricks but nothing worked. Has anyone actually got it to playback video? And any links to the cables would help. Thanks in advance.

CRUX AVITY-01 will allow you to mirror your smart phone screen to your Entune radio screen and stream anything that is playing on the mobile device. You can also add an AV source via a minijack or HDMI connection, I have a portable digital media player hooked up to mine. However, the main feature I find most useful is the ability to override the vehicle in motion sensor so my passenger can input navigation points of interest while we are driving.

Honestly it doesn't look that bad at all; was watching netflix and stuff like that. The screen is so small that the resolution isn't that bad at all.

I got mine for just about the same price on eBay. Either way it's cheaper than most (most are running around 150-175 from what I saw).
And just for the record, I use the video portion while parked and not driving. Mostly when camping and the weather is bad, etc.

Yes, all features are unlocked while the vehicle is in motion.
