the entune unit rebooted on its own today (twice)...wondering if bluetooth crashed as my phone was connected to it.

Mine freezes about once a month and I have to do a hard reset by holding the knob down. I have Bluetooth on most of the time. The Entune in my wife's 2015 Highlander crashes about twice a month now. Its just buggy and I read on another thread that Toyota dealers want 150 bucks for a software update. Which I'm disinclined to do. Toyota makes some great products but they have their heads in the sand on certain features and updates.
Update your head unit should reduce entune crashes. I updated mine, a 2014 unit, several months ago and zero reboots since:

I get "insufficient connectivity" sometimes.
It usually happens when I gas up or step away from the 4runner for a short time.
Also when I connect my Bluetooth ear buds and they are on me when I get into the 4runner it takes an act of Congress to get the phone to connect to the 4runner again.
How does one tell when the last update was done to the unit?
