Hey all, I am not new to 4runner's but I am new to build threads. I've generally had second gen's but I'm now deciding to build up my 3rd gen. I've always been a "lurker" of this site and would post once in a while but I cant thank everyone on this site enough for all the help they have provided me

So for well over 2 months I was in search of a 99 4runner limited with low KM's and in good shape. I finally found one I liked, I bought it from the original owner with 221k Km's on the clock and I talked him down to 6500 which is average price.

The truck is my daily driver, and a have some plans for it. Being a Mountain biker I will be using the truck for many trips to the interior of BC with friends. I also like to go out and 4x4/explore a lot so I will post those pics in this thread also.

But for the most part this may be a bit "slower" of a build thread.

That's a nice 4Runner history you have going! I'm also an avid mountain biker, I really dig the dh bikes you have on top of the integra! (Own 3 specialized bikes myself...and a Sunday) I'm on my second 4Runner and have to say it's the best vehicle for camping and hauling bikes and buddies. I'll admit I'm pretty jealous you get to ride and explore BC....that's on my bucket list!

Thanks! The commencal is mine, demo is a buddies. Yea I must say being in BC is un beatable for riding. Spend a lot of my summer at whistler, the sunshine coast, sun peaks and silver star. Not to mention Seymour and cypress which are pretty much in my backyard

In the last week or so I have cleaned my MAF as well as my throttle body. And last night I got rid of the slack in my throttle cable and transmission kick down cable, And boy howdy were they ever loose because after being tensioned it was like night and day

I also picked up some sliders a while back. Just waiting to weld them on

Sliders are being painted, I went with a spray on bed liner

I went out and picked up a fully aluminum roof basket off of CL. It's not perfect but it will do. I've just got to figure out how I'm going to mount it

Little update: sliders are on with the help of a friend. And new interior lights

Also some pics from a short trail me and a buddy did (same one who helped with my sliders). Trail was mangled at the end so we had to bush whack our way out. Photos don't do justice

Over the Easter weekend I did some camping at clear creek hot springs
