I do not yet have enough posts to start a new thread, but I am also having radio problems in my 2002 SR5. One day last week my FM channel lost volume. If I turn the volume way up, I can barely hear the stations. The power antenna continues to activate when the radio is turned on, the volume for the CD player, and the few AM stations I get, is working fine. It is only the FM.
There is also a slight popping sound that accompanies changing FM stations with the very low volume, which may signal a bad amplifier. Can the amp be bad for the FM, and still work OK for the CD,AM?
Other ideas are most appreciated.
