Ethanol Conditioner

Maybe my terminology is wrong, but I am referring to a fuel additive that claims to eliminate ethanol from fuel (or maybe it just protects the engine from damage caused by ethanol).

I cant remember the product name, but thought maybe someone here has tried it or at least has some opinions to share on the validity of its function.

So, any thoughts?

I have been doing some more research on Google and it seems as though the products only claim to prevent/reduce damage from ethanol, not actually eliminate it.
