Winch install
Installed a Smittybuilt XRC8 in the Perkins' bumper this afternoon/eve. Minor hiccups but ultimately went smoothly. Here's pics:
At first, wasn't sure where to put the control box for the winch. After I (we - my neighbor John helped) got the winch bolted in it wasn't obvious where to put the control box. After trying a few places it turns out one of the stock mounting brackets works well (duh). Make sure you install that little ba5**** first though. Its a bit of a tight fit once the winch is bolted in. Oh, had to remove one of the original bumper braces, just stamped sheetmetal.
It got dark, so this was very handy, always keep one in the glovebox.
Once everything was mounted up, I zip-tied the 'wing' on the back of the control box to the winch to help secure it a bit.
WOOT!
Cables zip tied in place and ready to pull my fat a55 out sometime.
Demello Sliders install tomorrow with an old Subaru buddy, then will post better pics.

A quick snapshot of the bumper and new sliders. Hope to get out this weekend and take a better picture someplace more scenic.

That Perkin's bumper looks awesome. However, I kind of think that with your current ride height and tire selection, it looks a bit out of place. I liked the factory bumper better. But a real lift and some 33" M/T's......Mmmmmmm.......

Went out for a couple hour drive this afternoon to clear my head and get the highway/mountain feel of the 2.5s. Rides great, added height with a lot to spare. Owner of the 4x4 shop was impressed by the quality of the components.
Here's a few pics, didn't get into any real trails, but did get a little flex going on a dirt pile.
And I'll beat you to it, yes, it needs some offset. Probably going with some KMC Enduras. Wanted AR Mojave's but it seems they're backordered everywhere.

With Overland Warehouse 2.5 full kit (installed by Kyle's 4x4) on stock wheels.
OW 2.5 (outside edges) vs Daystar 2.5/1.5
Today the new wheels went on, ProComp 8179s.
And now I'm broke and done for a while with the mod bug, lol.

Nice build! Gotta love the red salsa pearl color, it's what I have too and I think it's the best looking of the 4Runner's color choices. Yours looks great! I almost hate looking at pics from you guys out west, 4Runners all clean and salt free 
BTW, you have a beautiful state. I spent 3 weeks in Cali last summer visiting my girlfriend at the time. She grew up in LA. I didn't want to come back to PA haha.

Wow, haven't updated this thread in a while. Been on 120 more actively.
Here's a slew of updates...And some pics:
Before removing the passenger seat.
Constant on with a switch.
Cut my rear Weather Tech mat and then laid the rear trim piece over it, much nicer.
Radios in place underneath passenger seat. Yaesu FTM-350AR/RE and Cobra 75 WX XT. One extra power lead for another aux plug or???? Also an additional CB antenna lead for a mount on my rack.
Yaesu head in place, just need to hook it up.
My plan was that I would be running 5 HID's. 3 spots in the center and 2 euro patterns on the outside edges. Unfortunately when I opened up the lights, one of them had obviously been mounted (the foot was scratched - which was no big deal - but it was also missing 3 of the 4 screws on the faceplate - big enough deal.) Since this weekend is my last free weekend for a while (on the road the next 2 weeks) it was now or never, so 4 lights will have to do
. I talked to the vendor (ORW) and they'll do a return/credit no problem.
I wanted to run the right wires and do a neat job, so everything is labeled/marked/etc. When its all done I'll draw a diagram and keep it in the 'Runner.
Everything is labeled and/or marked. As it turns out, I now have 1 relay that's not doing anything. Will just cap the leads off for now.
Ran the relay wires - soldered, wrapped and labeled. Then the little project box from Radio Shack got all buttoned up.
Took quite a while to wire the lights, zip tie everything in conduit (or whatever that stuff is called). Used PIAA 1" DIA motorsport mounts, they fit the main tubes on the BajaRack fine.
Also mounted the back up light. The wiring is run, just have to hook it up.
My buddy helped with some of the busy work like zip ties and lifting the rack back on the roof, we wrapped up around 4:30. Thanks other Phil.
Tomorrow will run 2 sets of 10 gauge from the relays back to the rear of the runner, hook up the back-up light, get the switches wired and then hopefully light them up.
Ran 4 strands of 10 gauge back, up through the rear column and then through the gasket that Josh mentioned. Its still bulky, but less so than 8 strands of 12 gauge.
Made my own little harnesses for the dash switches and connected everything up. The correct lights work with the correct switches, the wiring is relatively clean, nothing flickered, nothing smoked or popped or blew. Happy.

Switch wiring diagram. I have these mounted upside down compared to how the instructions were from OTRATTW so I needed to draw my own plan to understand. I wanted them to work a specific way, so the lower light (thin light) is on when the accy power is on and the big light (square) is lit when the switch is thrown.

Have been really busy with an Expo trailer build for the last couple of months.
Here's the build thread
Today I finally got around to re-installing the air deflector on the bajarack after installing lights months ago. I Just cut some notches so the deflector slides around the light mounts.
Oh, don't buy these mounts - at least not for full size/weight lights. Not happy with them at all. They don't lock down and I've already had one shear off one of it bits. And they weren't cheap. Eventually I'm going to fab my own.
Big morning today.
Installed new 2000mm ARB Awning in prep for vacation next month. Made my own brackets earlier this week, saved $60 vs the BajaRack ones.
Installing an IBS system with an Odyssey battery. Here's the bottom of the battery tray.
Took a few tries and lots of test fitting, but got it all sorted out.
IWB gauge installed.
The rest of the install was pretty easy, just add connectors/solder/shrinkwrap. Now I have lots of juice!
Tray bolted into place, very sturdy.
Battery in place.
100 Amp breaker for one of the 8ga wire feeds to the rear compartment.
Lit up like Christmas.
