Evap system incomplete Msg !

My muffler is about ready to be replaced and the gasket joint is blowing where it connects to the front pipes from the motor just near the O2 sensors, this morning I got a misfire on #5 which cleared up soon after, but the OBD dongle thingy said I have an incomplete Evap system and catalyst, would this be causing the misfire ?

I'm leaning toward they are not related. I believe you are talking about system readiness, it has no effect on misfiring.

I did some digging and found they don't seem related as you say. Thinking back I did put in some gas from two months ago that I drained from the ATV it might have had something to do with the sudden misfire ! Dropped in some inj. Cleaner which always seems to help. Thanks for your reply.
