Cheap 'emergency kit' (had to replace the jumper cables with proper ones as the cables that came with the kit didn't work... grrrr), First Aid Kit, my ENO hammock with straps and a few bottles of water.

Once I get my rear drawers built I'll throw in some spare clothes, food, sleeping bag/pad, more advanced first aid, fluids, tools, recovery equipment, etc.

full electrical repair kit including crimping pliers, wire, connectors, tape, fuses, fuse tester, test leads, battery terminals, etc. basically if anything on the truck electrical tears, rips, or burns out i can fix it well enough to get it home. recovery bag with snatch block, tow ropes, line weight, ratchet straps, and D rings. also keep a pair of leather gloves in the side, and a cheap ODBII reader. cheap 12v air compressor. jumper cables. Hatchet and fire extinguisher in the side compartment. 120 piece tool set. mud boots. tire plug/patch kit. shock/water proof flash light. cheap come-a-long just in case. extendable lug wrench set. up front i keep a snap on multi tool and and a survival headlamp in the center console. I hare more that I would like to carry, but until I finish my drawers this is all I keep it in.
