Everyone, Please Post Your Switch Banks.

It's time to upgrade my switches and relay banks. Due to many different changes I've ended up with switches in different places and my relays in and out of my cabin. Time to clean it up. I would love to mount them at eye level or higher and I've seen a few posted on here but not sure who or where they were at. Can people assist and post pictures of their switches?

I personally think a bank of switches mounted on the dash above the clock and air vents would be perfect. I saw one like that but don't remember anything on how it was mounted or other details...

I'm tempted to start with something like this, though I'm not a fan of the large volt meter in the middle of it.....

I'm not sure I have a photo of mine but I went to a single din radio so I could fit some switches under the radio. Bought the bracket from a guy on Tacoma World a couple years ago. I'll see if I can dig that up for you.

Not an overhead panel, but there is also a switch panel that a guy local to me in San Diego makes that goes under the radio. It's really one of the only direct bolt in prefab'd panels that you could get without making your own, at least that I've ever seen. Reasonably priced too. They fit 1st Gen Tacos and 3rd Gen T4R's.

Yeah.... That thing scares the hell out of me!!!!! LOL That's some intense work he put into that. It's amazing!

I have the Paranoid Fab installed with a piece of black construction paper on the back of it until I decide what switches (Contura V, X, etc) and what I will be using all six switches for, along with a few other decisions I need to make. There's a picture of it installed in this post. It's very clean and professional looking. Pioneer DEH-X9600BHS Installation and Paranoid Fabrications Panel

EDIT: I went to a single din just because I wanted this panel.

THAT'S IT!!!!! Yes, I loved that when I saw it. I'll have to make something like that though I have no idea how to start. I know your skills\equipment were top of the line.

Time to brainstorm.

i have a plan to re-locate my HAZARD switch, just have to tie in longer wire. Any thoughts regarding the different switch [MENTION=10169]TheDurk[/MENTION]

Yep, I thought he was crazy when we were talking about doing it... Two was enough for me cause of the 4 I copied in the center after seeing yours.

This might have some potential.... Row of 6 switches. Two gauges below (or some other combination. Though I still like the mount above the vents... Again, eye level. But I think this may be a good second choice.

Cut out the original area, and make a flat face out of fiberglass. Able to cut out a rectangle and use the switch holders to hold the switches. PVC pipe to slightly angle the gauges up and towards the driver. I would need to find a spare trim if I do this.... I'll brainstorm the area above the vents first, even though I think this one would be easier.

If you have the sunroof, here's how I did mine. It's going to be 16 switches in all, and I'll probably mount the relay box under the passenger rear seat, where the Jack was located.

This is the rough idea, and if I can find another over head console, With sunroof controls, I'll be redoing it. With enough space to add switch covers, even though I'll know pretty much where everything is, someone else might not.
