There are a lot of little pieces, and you need the shrockworks front bumper frame mounts/hardware. I want to redesign the bumper to have bends in the sheet metal to keep the complexity down, plus I want to switch the frame mount to a cross tube support like how addicted offroad is. I used 3 different thicknesses of metal (10 gauge, 1/4in, and 3/4in) so that adds cost. Basically once you add up all these little things the cost gets too high for the end user just to get everything made and assembled together, so it never made sense to just sell the files.
I'd like to make these and sell them, but timing is tough (I'm moving apartments in a couple of weeks and getting married in a couple of months), plus I have no where to do the metals bends and welding and all the assembly. Maybe if I had some serious interest I could to a batch of 10 or so at a friends house with his help, but that would be a few months at least.
That being said I'd be happy to sell the .dxfs to anyone that wants them.

Redesign with bends in the sheet metal, very interested to see this especially with how great your current bumper turned out. I understand what you mean about the price due to the individual pieces but for some crazies like myself, the increased cost can be worth it if it means getting exactly what you want. That's why I find myself going custom pretty often or modifying an existing design. Bumpers have been on my list, just trying to create or come across the right design.
Since you used the shrockworks front bumper frame mounts, does that mean your bumper would work with their 2" body lift mounts?

I don't know what their 2" body lift mount looks like. If it's all designed in the frame mounts then my bumper would work (with the exception of the brackets that attach the outside wings to the body mount, that would need to be lengthened).

I got both bumpers from coastal for the price people usually pay for one shipped prewelded from another source. With that being said, depending upon what you plan to do with them, they can end up being extremely expensive, in my mind these are almost only a DIY option I didnt want to pay people to weld and paint etc that ended up being really expensive when I got quotes. With all of that being said, after building my coastal bumpers myself as my first fab projects, I'd never buy anything but a DIY kit, or just simply create my own one off bumper. It's really not rocket science, it's as detailed as you want it all to be. I'll also be taking CAD classes soon though in college. For the price of the coastal bumpers they could deliver a better all around product but they're also a new company.
EDIT:
If you already have a welder between wire and grinding and painting materials you'll only be in the bumpers an extra hundred bucks.

Awesome! I've got FreeCad on my PC right now, is this referenced with the correct measurements and fitment or more just for the idea? If the former, I'd love to know what you used to reference the mounting points on the bumper... Just curious
I’ve been welding and fabricating for 10 years. The only way these kits are worth it is if you truly DIY. If you’re dropping it off to be welded and painted just buy a fully assembled bumper.

Did you just cut away all the plastic and stuff that hung below the bumper in front of the wheels? I just got my Coastal High Clearance on, and there's a lot of junk (including that reservoir on the passenger side) showing.

Everything is designed with correct measurements and fitment. A good ol' tape-measure and trial/error with poster board is all I used.
After making a poster board prototype I made a few tweaks (pushing the winch further back and pushing everything closer in to get a better approach angle), then went straight to ordering laser-cut metal.

I used a dremel to cut the inner fender wells and I removed the mounting bracket for the bumper on each side. Youll notice that you can thread back in one of the same bolts from that mount to screw each fender back in so theyre not loose. As for the washer reservoir if that bugs you, they do have relocation kits for that. If you end up going with 33's and want to tuck them all the way or 35's youll need to relocate that anyways.
Edit: not sure if you ordered your blinkers yet, I went with the same brand name blinker but I got an LED blinker instead of a regular standard bulb blinker. I thought it made everything look more premium. Ive been waiting for a flasher for like 2 weeks to come in the mail though.

I can sell my DXF plans for $30, it'll include one DXF file for every piece, 3 DXF files for the 3 sheets with the pieces already nested ready to be sent to a metal supply shop, and 2 PDFs of the fog light tubes and the pre-runner hoop with detailed cuts and bends.
I have to re-iterate a few things though:
- This bumper is designed to line-up with the Limited fender flares. I do not (yet) have another design.
- There are 3 metal thickness (10 gauge, 1/4in, and 3/4in). Only these metal thicknesses will work or the pieces will not slot together correctly. Unfortunately, 3 different thicknesses (instead of 1 or 2) means that the cost to cut everything out at a metal supply shop will be high for just one bumper.
- This design only works with the 3rd gen 4Runner frame brackets and hardware from Shrockworks. You'll have to call them and order those parts yourself (including shipping, it all cost me $174.65).
- There are a lot of little parts, and it's going to be a major pain to weld together. I have been wanting to change my design to includes bends in the sheet metal to reduce the part count but I haven't gotten around to it yet.
- The bumper is designed to work specifically with the Warn M8000-S winch, I cannot guarantee the fitment of any other winch.
Looking back at my expenses, this bumper cost me ~$1200 to make (and that doesn't include welding cost).
I need to be very honest and up-front about all of this because this is something I am very proud of making myself, but I take more pride in providing a product that works well and is as easy as possible for the end-user to put together. THIS BUMPER IS NOT AT THAT POINT, at least not yet, and that is why I am giving all of these warnings.
With all of that being said, if you understand all of this and would still like the DXFs, I'd be happy to sell you those. DM me if you are still interested. Thanks!
