True duals

I read a post that there was a problem with the dual exhaust set-up. Is that the one you're talking about? I think the problem was with the routing of the pipe exiting on the drivers side. I believe it interferred with the spare tire somehow. They are supposedly trying to work that out.

The "system" I am referring to is one that is on my Tundra and should work on the 4Runner (I will be doing it soon) there should be no problem with any system exiting to the right (passenger side) as long as both pipes go that way. I need to get pictures of my system. thanks for the reply. CSM-H

I called Magnaflow and they said they have had no reported problems with the 05 V8 exhaust. Im kinda hesitant about what to do, maybe I should just try it out and see.

So what did he say? I just ordered my ss magnaflow cat-back side exit exhaust from performancepeddler.com and specifically stated 05 V8 Sport. Hope I don't have to ship this thing back

05' SE V8 & Magnaflow 15781

It was my vehicle that had the hanger issue.
Magnaflow made the necessary correction, installed & noted change for future reference.
This may only apply to the 05' SE V8....
I'm happy w/ the system.
It sounds great & looks 100% better than OE.
I don't remember which post it was, but I left all necessary phone #'s & name to call @ Magnaflow for info.

I have yet to hear back from danny via email...anyone that would like to call him is more than welcome to do it. Im flat swampped with shit to get done these days so other than email, i have about jack squat time for anything else.

I called him yesterday and he didnt know anything about the problem... As far as Gibson goes, I didn't know they even made it for our cars but it says 04 anyway.

Bluto, not to fond of gibson. It seems many say gibson is loud. Not sure of the quality... but thats just me. I had Magnaflow on my other 4runner and it was just right. Plus my friend has this same exhaust on a 04 V8 limited and it sounds wicked on WOT but low deep rumble normal cruising!
