Exhaust Cutout Question

Hello Everyone,

I am considering doing an exhaust cutout right before the stock muffler on
my 06 V8. Just for fun and to make some noise.

Has anyone done that or know of a video or something to help me in the
decision making process?

Any suggestions or advice welcome.

You could try unbolting the exhaust right before the stock muffler, and after the y pipe connects to get a pretty good idea of what it sounds like. I had this for awhile, sounded great around town but was way too loud and droned like crazy on the freeway.
