Exhaust flange question

Ok, have a set of OBX headers to install since i have a huge exhaust leak on my factory stuff. Looks like i either have to weld the factory downpipe flange on or buy a new one. Anyone know what size flange i need and part number for the gasket? Thanks

I'd just weld it to be honest. My headers came with an extra flange, since you have to hack off the existing stock downpipe and then weld a flange back on. Only downside to having it welded on without the flange is if you ever tried to remove the engine, you'd have to cut the exhaust off.

I say that since even if you get a flange, when you go to bolt it up some headers sit wonky and don't always mate correctly and can cause exhaust leaks.

Go to BearRiverConverters.com and look for your exhaust parts. They are great. I bought a replacement flange for after the CAT from them to go back to a OEM style exhaust on the 97 puppy hauler. Someone scabbed in a muffler and did a horrible job.
