Exhaust help!!!

I added a K&N drop intake (which I love) and then a Delta40 series Flowmasters muffler. I LOVED how it sounded for about a month or two... now I want it gone! Lmao, oops! Luckily I only spent $80 on the muffler with install. Anyone looking to trade for a factory exhaust? Or have any other options or opinions on the matter. BORLA sells a full exhaust system for about $500-600...

Thoughts and/or opinions welcome???

I went with a flowmaster 50 series. It's not too droney. Has the right amount of throatiness and levels off while at highway speeds.

Ditch the soundmaster and go with a magnaflow

Gibson is pretty good! My exhaust guy said its right in between stock and borla..

If you don't want to go thru to much hassle & most exhaust guys do it put a resonator in between y-pipe & muffler ! Or get a delta 50 , it's all about canister size .

Honestly, I like the sound. And everyone that hears it compliments it, but yeah... I guess lately it has been bothering me more than me enjoying it. I have to put the radio up past 25-30 just to not be as bothered by it.

Spot on! I like both ideas and will look into them. I'm sure because of the intake and exhaust I'm driving a bit faster now, but I've also lost about .5 HP. To some that might be a big deal, I don't like it but it doesn't bother me enough to go back full stock.

My experience with flomaster 40s is the drone. I've enjoyed magnaflow mufflers on my old tundra and silverado. haven't decided whats going on my t4r but i might go with something similar.
I dont remember the part number sadly..
let us know what you choose!

Both of my Borla's (one on 4Runner, one on FJ) got annoying at highway speed. Couldn't hold a conversation with the back seat passengers.

Will the flowmaster delta 40 fit on a 2017 T4R Limited? Do I need to cut or do welds?
