Exhaust Help!

Hello all! I am new here so thanks in advance for setting me on the right path. So far, I have installed an Airaid intake and Airaid Throttle Body Spacer. I want to get a little more growl out of my 4Runner, and have always trusted Borla. The two mufflers of interest include the Borla XR-1 (Part# 40941), and the Borla Pro XS (Part# 40363). The XR-1 Sounds great, but I cannot find a clip of the Pro XS. The Pro XS is already the correct diameter, versus the XR-1 which has a 2.5" inlet/outlet and would need a flange adapter. Does anyone have any experience with the Pro XS? (Previously Borla's "Turbo" Line).

That's what I thought too Brian, so I called them up before I posted. The gentleman I spoke with said that they did not have the flanges to go from 2.5" to 2.25" (for the XR-1). As for the Pro XS, he said that it would be a little louder than the XR-1. This is all fine and dandy, but I still was hoping to hear it to see if it was a lower tone, etc.

OK, sorry! You may have to take a leap of faith.

I have a Flowmaster and am generally pretty happy with it. But if I could do it all over again I would probably get a TRD exhaust.

I got a Dynomax made by Walker. the Turbo one. its ok and flows better. nothing to loud which is what i wanted. $73 at Napa
