Exhaust Manifold Gasket

Hey guys,

I noticed the other day an exhaust smell coming from the engine compartment right after I turn off the car. I took a look under the hood and noticed some smoke slipping out the back of the engine at what I can only assume is the exhaust manifold. You think it's time to replace the gasket? Has anyone ever done this? Seems like this would be somewhat difficult.

Interested in this too, I smell exhaust under the hood but have never spotted any smoke. I almost feel like I need to seafoam the engine just for the sake of producing lots of smoke, so I can try to pinpoint where mine is leaking from. It also seems to do 'LUG LUG LUG LUG' at idle once it's warmed up more than I recall... dunno if that's a symptom.

But from a little bit of googling it doesn't sound like a fun job, can't find a walk through with pictures though.

Not sure about how difficult it is to replace them on that rig, but I am a big fan of Remflex Gaskets. I would suggest going with one of those when you do replace it.
