Exhaust manifold rust

So I'm sitting here thinking about headers (just thinking, haven't bought anything) and since I have previous (painful) experience, I took a look at my engine for potential showstoppers, sure enough, it doesn't look like I can just unbolt my stock manifolds right now... or maybe the nuts won't come off but the studs will still unscrew from the heads?

What do you think?

Soak that area (before removing) with a 1:1 ratio of brake fluid and acetone...that will penetrate the threads and loosen the rusted up parts...let it soak for a half hour and reapply and begin to loosen...they'll come off...might break or shear but they will come off...

I was looking at those too. I am thinking where I could get those header nut and bolt. my plan of attack is to replace the stud one at a time until I completely replace all six studs. this way, even if there's one stud that might cause some trouble, I can still use the truck. when I replace them all, then that's the only time to remove the header. what do you think of this idea?

I bought these! Can't wait to hear them. And I like pb blaster and a torch, soak apply heat soak again. Slowly work them out
