exhaust question???

hey guys.
I went to my best friends brother in-laws Toyota shop called
Le-Toy Motors here. We talked a bit about add-ons and mods. He worked for Toyota for 20 yrs and then opened up his own place. I asked him about the TRD and Borla exhaust systems. He is recommending a custom made exhaust. I guess they have made many there and everyone loves them. They sound awesome. Deep but not too loud, the catback pipes do not stick out so far behind the rear wheels. They are back more to make them not as visable, and are chrome tipped. The price is cheaper then Borla and TRD. But, if i am not mistaken, if i do not use TRD then i will be screwing up my warranty right???

Any insight here?

You will not be screwing up your warranty, no matter if it is TRD, Borla or a custom cat-back exhaust. There is nothing that could happen to the truck that would be caused by a new cat-back.

I really like it, it sounds great. Not sure about performance gains from it but I love the look and sound of the V8
