Exhaust Tip Swap from 4th to 5th Gen?

I'm trading in my 4th for a 5th gen? Can I use my Exhaust tip on the new one? If so - How hard is it to get off and install?

Already took it off - but I'm asking if it will fit on the 5th gen.

Isn't it one that just slips on and then you tighten it down with a bolt?

I would guess that it would fit. I don't see the diameter of the 4th and 5th gen exhaust being that different.

I thought the same but am looking for a answer which did not include the word "guess" lol

What got me wondering is that the new ones say its for 2010 - 2011 models so I'm thinking it just may not fit otherwise they would say 2006 and up, no?

The correct answer is NO. Picked up my 2011 LTD and its exhaust end is a flat oval - not round like my 06.

So, it will be put on sale here if any are looking for one. Great shape $45 shipped.

Can you take off one of the ceiling handles from the 4th gen? They prolly won't even notice. I'll buy that ceiling handle from you.

lol NOBODY has been that good. My dealer offered $ 35 for it but they would resell it used for $ 55-60 I bet. Be more reasonable and I'll try to better get into the spirit of the season
