Exhaust tubing diameter?

I have searched all ways I can think of on here to find 5th Gen exhaust tubing diameter. But not getting anything. Cold be since I'm using the mobile app but no luck. Also find it strange that with a Google search for 2010 exhaust tubing diameter you don't get anything but exhaust systems not just the tubing.

So does anyone know what the diameter is for 2010 4.0L?

:suspicious: Uhhh... Just get a measuring tape and measure the end pipe on your 2010 4runner.

I can't believe how helpful everyone is here..... other forums I use are beneficial. I really can't believe that no one has this info. The reason I was hoping someone had the exact diamater is that Toyota uses a non standard tubing on some of their vechicles which needs to be known when considering a muffler swap.

Yes I know that the tubing can be stretched or crimped tighter, but knowing the tubing size helps someone make a decision on which muffler, so performance isn't lost.

The odd size tubing I am referring to is the Tundra's 1Gen's have 2 3/8" tubing which is inbetween the most common 2 1/4" and 2 1/2".

Borla or Magnaflow make 4runner specific mufflers... Or at least I believe they do. Try doing a search for one of those, as there's a lot of info regarding them. I can link something later, but it's a little tough on mobile atm.

There's nothing odd about the "odd size", it's just metric 60mm piping. Perhaps it is the Americans that are odd by continuing to use a system of measurement that the originators already ditched for the metric system, lol.

So anyways, I just went out to measure the exhaust pipe for you. Toyota used a pretty decently sized pipe for this motor, I'm impressed!
