ive got a 92 4runner with a 22re. im just wondering if anybody knows of any exhausts that actually sond good with it and still give you a little extra power. any ideas?

A friend of mine has a cherry bomb on his and thats what prompt me to get mine. i noticed a pwr difference ... though mine is a 3.slow it sounds similar to his though. price was like $ 30 bucks and its small, and light weight ,.

do either of you know the model of muffler you guys used? im just trying to get an idea of cost and sound

well first of all do not get a cherry bomb. cherry bombs are glasspack mufflers that are strictly for rednecks and ricers looking to make as much noise for the least amout of money. cheery bombs are like $30
your best bet is to go to an exhaust shop, and tell them what you would like. these guys do this for a living, they know what they're doing. they will know which muffler to install to give you the best sound.
i got my cat cut out... dont run just a muffler and no cat it sounds like a tractor... very very bad.
I got the cat removed (no emissions in alberta canada) and got a resonator and baffled magnaflow and it sounds amazing.. at idle its very quiet and low rumble like a v8, and while driving it doesnt get any louder, its just like stock but with a low grumble.
i paid $150cdn for cat removal, resonator, and magnaflow all installed.
