My single swing arm bumper is installed as of this weekend. I am impressed. I agonized over my rear bumper selection. I have no regrets. It is very well made and no doubt I’ll get years of hassle free use out of it. And it looks amazing on my rig!! I have metal parts installed from all of the usual companies. And this fitment is stellar - on par or even exceeding the best. I love the way the body panel cuts are hidden behind or under the bumper. Incredibly sanitary. You have a huge amount of leeway with your cuts. Huge. There’s No worries if you even generally follow the instructions. Speaking of instructions- the ones sent with the bumper are legit horrible. Online not much better. I spent more time organizing a bag of bolts- some standard and some metric- and trying to decipher which part was what. Ultimately it was very simple. Wing bracket on each side. And 2 piece brackets that secure to frame/crossmember. Having installed one now it can easily be done in a couple hours. What is the deal maker here is also the latch! It is functional, easy, clean and elegant. I bounced around hard off-road and the tire mount on the swing didn’t even twitch. Now I need an equally elegant way to relocate my license plate. Although it’s sooooo close to being legally visible as is with my 285’s angle mounted as high and passenger side as possible. Ohhh- rear camera is 8/10 with the single arm without relocating.
