Very good sir !! Never know if these damn PM get thru on the antidarklights ? For us real 4runner guys it's cool just watching some guys get free cheese stuff & go off to these cool places (Eh Cent. America not so much) been thru 1st 3 countries & they suck 1973 cir. guys with f-n machine guns that look like Manson EVERYWHERE ,road stops by who knows who & that's 20 mi in to Guatamala .:fear: Anyway it's beat nothing :heh:
So far, this season has been kind of meh....

Yeah, it was just ok. 2 and 3 probably should have been one episode. I'm sure at some point they will actually use that ICON suspension right?

It's unbearable. I tried to watch ep2 with a friend, and it was just embarrassing. Ep1, 2 and 3 have all missed the mark big time.
My buddies took a motorcycle trip to panama, and kept a blog. Their blog was much more exciting. Arrested, mugged, hit by drunk drivers, wild offroading, very interesting locals. All exciting stuff. I don't know how these guys can make a trip like this so boring

I think it will get better the further south they go but also the show is titled Expedition Overland so it comes down to the difference between 4 wheeling for 4 wheeling sake and overlanding which is more about travel to remote locations over primitive roads or no roads. I'll wait and see.

I guess we have different ideas of exciting. I don't know how I would feel about getting hit by a drunk driver, and being arrested, also I feel like if that was ever to occur with this group it definitely wouldn't air. Although this isn't like their past 2 trips I do understand now that with all the sponsors and gear also comes company appeasement.
Unfortunately nothing is too exciting in Socal, but I think once they actually go further south we will see more offroading action, and less i ate tacos and now I'm puking out of both ends. . .:barf:

Baja is not the wild place it used to be. The show clearly demonstrates that. On our motorcycle trips you have to stay off the standard routes to really see any good off road adventure. They took the tourist route as I think they're more concerned with making time and mileage at this point. I think the good stuff will come.
If anything we all should support them on their YouTube channel just to show that there is a market interest, which paves the way for more of this. Hit play on the show and go wash you car if you dont care for it. Good things will come from this aside from them making money.

I thought that part would be good... But with how it was edited it was a disappointment. The random church designed by Effiel story was also interesting...
I do feel for the guys being sick down there, been there and done that, ugh.
