This may have already been shown on here but if not look these guys up. It is on YouTube and the photography is awesome. This next season they are using 5gen 4Runners with some mods.

Super excitted to watch 4runners! I asked if they were pulling expo trailer because i was interested in how the t4r would do with the extra weight. They answered my question stating that there will be no expo trailer this go around. 2 t4r's and the taco.

Will be awesome to see how the 4Rs do. I hope they give us a good overview of how they've modded the rigs and will be interesting to see if they re-geared or added a front locker.

It looks like they've retired their LC. It went through some ICON rear shocks and things got pretty bouncy on the trail after that!

I certainly hope they don't bring back that trailer. That thing was really good at preventing the LC from making tight turns in the switch backs and loading it down in the squirrelly stuff.

What I find most astonishing is how they always seem to keep their cool. It's almost anti-climactic since there is never any drama...or if there is drama it is edited out. I felt much more of a connection to the individuals including the camera crew in the Long Way series. Shoot, most groups of friends have more drama than this just trying to get people into the car let alone after real adventuring.

So cant wait for this new season!

They seem like very reasonable people and each ones story makes is so interesting to hear.

Don't get me wrong I would go on the Alaska trip in a heart beat but did anyone else start itching during the shots of the insane mosquitos?

I work up there, a couple precautions and they really arent that bad, they do seem worse when there is a big heard of caribou near, but all in all not that bad.

I meet the crew last year at overland expo west. They are real good down to earth nice people, the kind you wish were your neighbors if you didn't already have some like them. They also make a great overlanding show! I think they will be attending overland expo west this year as well if you want to meet them and see the rigs.

I heard they plan on putting the 4runner builds on YouTube.

Also, the taco now has a trd supercharger so it seems to get the trailer duties lately.

They have also been making it to the Northwest Overland/Touratech Rally in Plain, WA, in June. Hope they can get there again this year. The whole gang seem to be decent folks, and they enjoy fly fishing! What's not to like? When two of the wives came out to speak about sexual abuse, they truly won my respect. I cannot begin to imagine how difficult that must have been. Congrats to them one and all.

Heres another pic of their T4R's. I like the fender mod (better without rivets IMO) it makes them look more like 10-13 TE's with the black plastic versus body color paint. I like how that further differentiates the TE from the others.
