We went to Big O the other day to have the tires road force balanced with the Hunter machine & adapter and it cured my highway shake!! Thank you T4R forum! Was looking into tires, as we have finally decided to go with the Toytec ultimate lift! We are planning extending trips with the 4ruuner. So lots of pavement, gravel roads with the occasional rock/trail runs. Looking for a tire with good ride comfort but still aggressive enough to handle the backcountry. The tire tech was telling me about the “Zero Balance “ tire, he was explaining that if the wheel is true and balanced that the tire wouldn’t need wheel weights. So the question is for the tire techs on the forum, could you explain? Anyone run the Nitto trail grappler? We have always had the BFG A/T’s on our SUV’s, and then went to the Goodyear MTR’s, the last set was Goodyear Dura Trac. Looking more for an all terrain with quite road noise, good ride comfort as well as decent off road capabilities. Tires size 235/85/16, I now they are load E range so they will be stiff, just don’t want to get to wide and would like to stay under a 32” tire and less than 50lbs. trying to keep in the power band as fuel economy is important.
