Glad you're finally building something!!

Just a suggestion, which is worth what you paid for it, I'd run that center tongue member back to the next bay to rear. Lots of pressure at that junction...but may be a non issue if you you use box steel, say 2" x 4". I'm sure Greg could finger it out as well...:hug:

I'm using 2x3 box for the whole frame except the tongue which is 3x3 box. I don't want to clutter up this thread so I'll update in mine soon.

How much total did you spend on the dinoot kit and the frame + axles? Looks like you fab'd your own lid?

Frame cost me around $400 (went in with two other guys on materials and labor). The M series tub was $855 (went with the tailgate option) and the axle was $115. So your automatically in $1270, you start adding up all the little things and its closer to $1600 +, depends on what you want.

I spent 6 weekends this summer building mine from a 1940's M100 trailer. I would buy a completed trailer next time But made from steel as I could weld on what I needed.

Just completed the bike carrier. Now will have this to tool around on.

Has anyone heard of or have a runaway trailer? They seem like a good option.
