I was all pumped up reading this thread to call him in the AM to purchase an extension until seeing that he bagged out unexpectedly. Will try Joe in AM to see if still being honored. Any word on other members that purchased recently besides you?

I think if you call Molle Toyota Dan will help you out. You would want to ask him or other members here about mods. I don't know.

I have not been in contact with them after the original purchase. All went as planned and I received the platinum warranty, booklet and card as promised. at 35K soon so am glad that I got it given costs of repairs...........

When I bought my 2008 (new) the dealer tried to sell me the extended warranty for something around 2k. I told him he was on crack. He came down to the $800 price and claimed that he could offer it to me for the lower price since I mentioned that I owned my own biz. Apparently that is the 'business purchase' price of the extended warranty.

I got a quote from Niel about 2 yrs ago for my 07 4R. I haven't purchased yet, but plan to do so sometime before next summer.

Here's his contact info if anyone is interested. I'm curious if the pricing is the same as back then. At the time it was $750 for 6yr/75K and $865 for 7yr/75K.

As long as the vehicle has less than 36,000 miles and is under 36 months old you can still purchase a toyota warranty?
