Just be advised, the Toyota extended warranties sold in Florida are different, and have a much higher set price statewide. The brochure you will get form the source in this thread has fine print about the plan not being valid in Florida. Do your research. I’m glad I did.

Did you chat with my contact? Did she give you the low down on what the pricing structure is in Florida? I would be curious to know as well.

Should not effect extended warranty but worth a chat with the person you purchase your warranty through. Keep all documents and work orders for things done to your truck as back up.

Yes, I chatted with her her, and she Was very helpful. She suggested I contact my local dealers to get the down low. After calling 5 dealers in Florida, I confirmed there is set pricing here and that it’s a different policy, but couldn’t get a straight answer as far as honoring the other extended warranty when purchased out of state.

I asked my dealer in Hampton VA if they could at least come close to the prices in these platinum plans, particularly the 9 and 10 yr plans. I wanted to give them the business if possible.

Turns out they can’t offer these plans and a check with their district rep said there is a separate agreement with Toyota, that they don’t have.

Dealer was very up front and said I should go for these plans as they could not even come close. Best they could do was platinum roughly 8 yr/80k miles for about $1600. Actually 5 added yrs and 60k added miles from date of purchase of the warranty. My vehicle will be 3 yrs old in Oct and has about 23k miles on it. Hence the 8/80 est.

Bottom line: Seems these are really good deals, at least for me.
