Curious on your guys' thoughts. Bought a 2012 Trail Edition with 58k. I got a service contract through my credit union, 8 years/up to 120k on the odometer, all for $1,820. Is it worth it?

As I said in a previous post my local dealer in VA could not even offer the plan.

Received the receipt/Warranty application pkg from dealer yesterday (4 days), just awaiting actual warranty pkg from Toyota.

Depends on what it covers. The price looks decent but not sure if it covers the same amount like the Toyota Platinum package. I would look at the fine print and see if there is a deductible as well.

It's their comparable bumper-to-bumper with $0 deductible. Doesn't cover wear and tear items like tires, brakes, shocks, fluids, and filters.

Received the actual warranty from Toyota today. 9 days from purchase.

Hey all just joined and bought an '18 TRDOP to replace my '02 Sport. Got a 10yr/125K platinum for 2,023.20. Not sure if I could have done better here, but this is a great thread, wish I would have seen it earlier. Thanks and look forward to more posts once the mods begin.

Agreed. I used to work at a printing company where we printed the warranty contract of major 3rd party warranty supplier.
The fine print was ludicrous. There were more exclusions than inclusions.

From reading a lot of the above posts it seems I have paid way too much for my extended warranty from the dealer. Could I get a quote on a 2018 TRD Off Road please?
Also, how hard is it to cancel the one I bought from the dealer?
