How'd I do?

Greetings all. Just joined the group and found this thread. I recently purchased a used CPO 2018 SR5 with 25k miles. Naturally the dealer wanted to sell me an extended warranty, but I politely declined figuring I'd shop around first. Found a dealer that offered me the 10yr/100k Toyota Extra Care Platinum for $1360. So, my question is, how did I do? Good, bad or ugly? This looks like a great forum for great info. Thanks.
 
I just bought a 2019 TRD PRO and didn't know if it was better to buy an extended warranty close to the factory runs out or buy now? If I buy now it starts now but if i wait will it be more expensive but get longer warranty?

You got the EXACT deal you should have. Finally a dealer that had realistic prices and more in line with what it should be.

Price stays the same if you buy now or later but as long as you're within your factory warranty period of 36,000 miles / 3 years, but the good deals could dry up as I had with my first contact, they DOUBLED overnight... so new source was located.

Sounds reasonable. The lowest I was quoted was $1,200 for the 6yr?/100K warranty, I ended up going with the 8yr/125K for $1,500. Double check your year limit though as it doesn't sound right. I think it is 6 yr or 8yr on the 100K.

Yes, unfortunately it is only within your factory warranty of 3 years, 36,000 miles. I'm sure there are some 3rd party ones out there that might be decent.

Checked the year limit, it's definitely 10 yr / 100K. Seems like the 9 and 10 year terms are relatively new.
Here's what I was offered:
6 yr / 75K - $645.00
6 yr / 100K - $895.00
6 yr / 125K - $1140.00
7 yr / 75K - $715.00
7 yr / 100K - $1025.00
7 yr / 125K - $1250.00
8 yr / 75K - $835.00
8 yr / 100K - $1145.00
8 yr / 125K - $1505.00
9 yr / 100K - $1265.00
9 yr / 125K - $1665.00
10 yr / 100K - $1360.00
10 yr / 125K - $1795.00
