I have a 2018 TRD off road premium with 25,500 miles. Love the vehicle and it looks like I’ll be putting between 18k-20k miles a year on her. Could I get a price on extended warranties? Are these bumper to bumper? Deductible?

Sorry but these Toyota EW are only available for members still within the factory warranty. I'm sure there are some 3rd party vendors out there that can help you.

So I did actually purchase a 3yr/36k warranty through the dealership. They charged me $2250. Does this sound reasonable?

We got a lifetime warranty from the dealer, as long as we own it. So if the motor goes at 100k it cost 100 bucks for a new engine. This 4 runner will more than likely be my last car, at least until I get my F Pace. Warranties are great if they are the right one.

Hello. I was wondering if you could please pass along your information to me concerning three vehicles. I am looking at buying 3 Toyota's and with each of them both the Toyota Extended Warranty and Service Plan.

How much would a Toyota Extended Platinum Warranty $0 Deductible for 8y/125k cost for each vehicle:

2019 - Toyota 4Runner ORP (Me)
2019 - Toyota Rav4 Adventure (My Wife)
2019 - Corolla SE (My Mother)

Also what can i expect to pay for Toyota Care Plan that lasts for 5y/75k on each vehicle?

3 years / 36,000 miles from the date you purchased the car from them? Still sounds expensive, any deductible?

Correct, the warranty has to work for the end user. It's good for some and some can do without. It's more of a security blanket for just in case.

Good luck getting them to warrant anything if you don't all service done through that dealer right on schedule.

It is a lifetime warranty. It was the main selling point for us to get the 4 Runner.

Yes it does, they will say that you can't prove that you followed the recommended service to T and that your powertrain failed due to negligence. Any amount of research online will show that these "lifetime" warranties are a sham.

Extended car warranties is where the dealers get you the most. Last month I purchased a 2018 ORP w/18K miles for $34.8K.

When I inquired about the extended warranty he offered me 5 years 60K miles for $2700 (WTF). I told him I just bought my wife a 100K Honda Warranty for her Pilot for $1500. Without giving it more than a minute of thought he offered me a 7 year, 100K mile warranty for $1650. I took it. Keep in mind those numbers are from the first sale date of the vehicle, not the date I bought it. So lower the 7 year 100K to 6 year 80K when factoring that in.

No One should pay more than $1600 for a 100K mile OEM Toyota warranty.

Just bought a 2018 ORP with 18K miles and got the warranty you see in the post above. $1650 for 100K miles.
